Parks on Wheels

Building a park that travels by train
As London continuously undergoes redevelopment, slack sites everywhere lie empty - but never for long. These are prime locations for local groups to come together and construct communal spaces and gardens like the Caravanserai in Canning Town. Inevitably, this co-created and co-grown oasis will have to move soon - but how? Just like real Londoners, the Park will travel by ‘Tube’, allowing it pop-up anywhere around town! Designed within the maximum allowance of luggage, Parks on Rails can be build using only one wooden pallet, and has handy, modular units for transporting plants, seeds and tools.
